Public Media Productions has a twenty-five year history of working with public relations firms, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and corporate clients to develop, produce and distribute media campaigns that are highly effective in accomplishing their goals.
Formerly known as Public Interest Video, the organization spearheaded independent live coverage and documentaries on important social and political events for public television audiences nationwide.
Since 1982 an emphasis was placed on working with organizations and teaching media literacy skills. A video, New Voices (winner of a Blue Ribbon at the American Film Festival) highlights successful uses of electronic media and was used in community workshops.
A national radio series, New Voices, was produced and distributed via satellite to over 200 public radio stations each week examining social and economic policy issues.
Award winning documentaries on energy dependency, reducing the threat of nuclear war, the quality of our drinking water, and U.S. forest policy have been broadcast nationally on PBS and cable systems.
Public Media Productions produces media campaigns, recruitment and marketing programs, training and fundraising presentations, and documentaries for broadcast, video release, CD, DVD, and web-based media.
